I’m going to let you in on a little designing secret: the two house plants I LOVE to decorate and stage with. In fact these two plants travel with me to multiple homes … let me explain why!!!
My House Plants for Staging
1. The Money Tree
This was a last minute necessity purchase. The space was scheduled to be photographed and I was on the hunt for a medium sized plant to add interest and height to a corner. There was no method to my selection as far as the name and truthfully, I was not familiar with this type of plant at all. Fortunately, when I stopped by the local Home Depot store I came across this plant and it fit the bill.

2. the Palm Tree
This palm is a great example of how you can elevate the impact of greenery with the choice of container. On it’s own this plant was just a bit on the short side. When I originally brought it into the home it lacked the impact I was looking for. By bringing in the footed basket the additional height created the vertical interest I was looking for and was a great balance to this sunroom.

BONUS: Fiddle-Leaf Fig
And as a extra tip… these Fiddle-Leaf Figs are also a popular house plant decor choice lately… I found a couple options you will like!
Basket Planters
When picking out house plants for staging, I also love to use woven baskets as my planters. Mine is from Ikea but I found these three in natural textures I love as well!!!
