Kitchen Cabinet Facelift
Many people think in terms of a kitchen remodel as an all or nothing proposition but there is another option that is often overlooked. Refacing your cabinets is a cost effective way to update your space with minimal downtime. Most installations can be performed on average in about a week and for approximately half the expense of replacement. Since all of my kitchen renovations are extensive and involve removing walls and a complete re-arrangement of the space this is not something I have tried myself but in the right situation I would consider it.

Hardware
It’s a great time to upgrade your cabinet pulls and handles. The selection and price range for hardware has never been better. There are amazing options in the most sought after finishes (matte black and brushed gold) on several sites and they don’t have to be a splurge.

Flooring
If a new floor install is not in the budget then consider adding an area rug (or two). If the space allows for a runner there are several selections to choose from that will draw the focus to the styling and beauty of your space which is exactly what you want. Plus who doesn’t want the coziness that comes with a cute rug on the floor in front of the sink????
